Hello all of you in Venus. I was looking for a group that a member of our Claremore church could worship with. He lives in Irving, David Moore and his wife Daisy. He has visited one or two groups and didn't feel comfortable. I told him about the Venus group. He has visited one of the Grand Prairie groups, but not sure which one. He and his family attended the church in Claremore as a boy. They were gone many years from the church. Now him & his wife, his brother & wife and mother attend at Claremore. He is from Chelsea, Oklahoma, which is about 15 miles north of Claremore. Hello to Belton and Bonnie, Kay and Winston and families. I have been in contact with Marita Samples on facebook and asked where she and Becky Riggs attended. Becky is married to my cousin Tony. His grandma Lavetta was a Hinds, Bill's sister. Who does your website? Sorry to learn of Melvin's passing. I thought a lot of Melvin and had just saw him and Elder Rose at Elder Hubert Weekes funeral back in November. Hubert and his family live in the little town of Inola, where I do. My grandpa Elder Ross Johnston lived here for about 30 years. I have been here almost that long myself. My mother lived here for about 14 years. Her grandpa was Elder J.H. Hinds of Inola. He was the pastor of the group here. In 1948 the building was moved to Claremore. It is still part of the building that exsists now. Sorry about the history lesson. Been years since I have been in Texas. Would like to come back some time, but not sure that will ever happen.
