The Venus Church of God (Seventh Day) was established in August 1992 by Cecil Bankston and Belton Sweet. The church was originally in Ennis, TX then moved to the old Senior Citizen Building on the square in Venus on February 1993. In February 1997 the congregation purchased our current location. In November 2005 the new sanctuary was completed on our existing building.
